The Majesty Palm, also known as Ravenea rivularis, is a popular indoor plant due to its majestic appearance. Here are some tips for caring for it:

  1. Light: The Majesty Palm prefers bright, indirect light. Place the plant near a window that provides filtered light, but avoid direct sun exposure, as this can cause leaf burn.

  2. Temperature: Maintain an ambient temperature between 18°C and 24°C (65°F and 75°F). Avoid cold drafts, especially in winter.

  3. Watering: Allow the top layer of soil to dry out slightly between waterings. Water moderately to avoid waterlogging. It's best to water less frequently in winter when the plant is less active.

  4. Humidity: Majesty Palms enjoy high relative humidity. You can increase the humidity around the plant by using a humidifier or by placing the plant on a pebble tray with water.

  5. Fertilization: Fertilize the plant with a balanced indoor plant fertilizer during the growing season (spring and summer) about once a month. Reduce fertilization in autumn and winter.

  6. Pruning: Regularly remove dead or yellowed leaves to maintain a clean and tidy appearance.

  7. Repotting: Majesty Palms have a slow growth rate and do not need frequent repotting. Repotting every 2-3 years is usually sufficient. Use a pot slightly larger than the previous one with good drainage.

  8. Common problems: Watch out for pests such as spider mites, scale insects, or aphids. In case of an infestation, treat the plant with appropriate methods, such as insecticidal soap.

  9. Toxicity: The Majesty Palm is generally not considered toxic to pets, but it's best to prevent any risk by placing the plant out of their reach.

Please note that we offer delivery throughout Quebec only for plants, pots 6'' and under, and accessories (jewelry, candles, plush toys).

Larger items (large plants, bulk items, and others) are available for pickup only and local delivery (45km and less). We are pleased to offer you local delivery for your plant purchases. You can choose between two time slots for delivery: 9 am to 12 pm or 12 pm to 5 pm.

However, please note that in some cases, particularly when we receive large orders requiring longer preparation time, we may not be able to meet the chosen time slot. We make every effort to ensure your plants are delivered the same day, but it is possible that we may sometimes exceed the estimated time.
