Assorted Succulents

Succulents are succulent plants of various shapes, colors, and sizes. Care for these succulents is generally similar, but it is essential to consider the individual needs of each variety included in the mix. Here are general tips for caring for your assorted succulents:

  1. Light: Succulents love light. Place them in a bright spot with direct sunlight for at least a few hours a day. A south or east-facing window is often ideal. Make sure they receive enough light to maintain their vibrant colors and compact shape.

  2. Watering: Succulents prefer moderate and infrequent watering. Allow the soil to dry completely between waterings. Water deeply when you do water, but avoid letting water sit in the saucer under the pot. In general, it is better to underwater than to overwater.

  3. Soil: Use a potting mix specially formulated for succulents or add sand or perlite to the potting soil to improve drainage. Make sure the pots have drainage holes.

  4. Temperature: Succulents prefer moderate temperatures. Most varieties tolerate warmer temperatures in summer but should be protected from frost in winter.

  5. Fertilization: Fertilize with a balanced succulent plant fertilizer about once a month during the growing season (spring and summer). Reduce fertilization in winter when the plant slows its growth.

  6. Pruning: You can lightly prune succulents to encourage denser growth and to maintain an attractive shape.

  7. Repotting: Repot assorted succulents if they become too large for their pot or show signs of overcrowding. You can do this every 1 to 2 years using appropriate potting soil.

  8. Propagation: Some assorted succulents can be propagated from stem or leaf cuttings. Each variety may have its own propagation method, so be sure to know the specifics for each type of succulent in your assortment.

  9. Problems: Watch for signs of root rot, which can occur with overly wet soil, as well as pests like mealybugs or aphids. Treat any problems as soon as you detect them.

Please note that we offer delivery throughout Quebec only for plants, pots 6'' and under, and accessories (jewelry, candles, plush toys).

Larger items (large plants, bulk items, and others) are available for pickup only and local delivery (45km and less). We are pleased to offer you local delivery for your plant purchases. You can choose between two time slots for delivery: 9 am to 12 pm or 12 pm to 5 pm.

However, please note that in some cases, particularly when we receive large orders requiring longer preparation time, we may not be able to meet the chosen time slot. We make every effort to ensure your plants are delivered the same day, but it is possible that we may sometimes exceed the estimated time.
