The mat provides warmth from below, telling seeds to start germinating. Large enough for a standard seed tray, this 10 x 20 in (25 x 51 cm) mat pairs well with any Jiffy seed starting kit. This mat is easy to use. Just plug it in, and it will maintain the optimal temperature range for most seeds to germinate. For indoor use only. Maintains a range of 22-23 C (72-73 F). Once seeds have germinated and formed, remove the seed tray from the heat mat and place the seedlings in a sunny window or under a grow light.
