The Ficus benjamina, also known as the weeping fig, is a popular indoor plant appreciated for its elegant green leaves and tree-like appearance. Here's how to care for it:

1. Light: Ficus benjamina prefer bright, indirect light. Place the plant in a location where it receives bright indirect light, but avoid direct sun exposure, especially in summer, as this can scorch the leaves. Periodically rotate the plant for even growth.

2. Temperature: Maintain a consistent temperature between 18°C and 24°C. Avoid cold drafts and significant temperature fluctuations.

3. Watering: Allow the soil to partially dry out between waterings. Test the soil surface with your finger, and water when the top few centimeters of soil are dry. Water sparingly, as overwatering can lead to root rot. Reduce watering frequency in winter.

4. Humidity: Ficus benjamina appreciate slightly higher ambient humidity. You can increase humidity around the plant by placing a pebble tray filled with water nearby or by using a humidifier.
