✂️ Care
This Itoh peony is hardy and easy to grow. Stake the stems in spring to support the generous, spectacular flowers in vibrant candy pink hues.
Water regularly during dry periods. Remove spent flowers to prolong blooming and encourage better branching.
After flowering, cut stems back to about 20 cm from the ground to encourage vigorous regrowth the following year. Remove dead foliage in the fall after frost. This peony requires little maintenance once established and can live for several decades in the same spot, becoming a prominent focal point in the garden.
