✂️ Maintenance
Pinch stems in spring to encourage denser branching and a more compact silhouette. After flowering, cut the plant back to 15-20 cm (6-8 inches) from the ground to encourage vigorous regrowth the following spring. Apply organic mulch at the base to retain moisture and enrich the soil.
Divide clumps every 3 to 4 years in spring to rejuvenate the plant and maintain its vitality. Water regularly during the first year of planting to establish a deep root system. Once well-established, Rudbeckia is very drought-tolerant and requires little watering.
