Aglaonema Pink Siam
-
Light: Aglaonemas prefer bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sun exposure, as this can burn the leaves. Place the plant near a window with a sheer curtain or blinds to filter the sunlight.
-
Temperature: Aglaonemas prefer temperatures between 20°C and 30°C. Avoid cold drafts and temperatures below 15°C.
-
Watering: Keep the soil slightly moist but not waterlogged. Allow the top layer of soil to dry out slightly between waterings. Water more frequently in summer and reduce the frequency in winter.
-
Humidity: Aglaonemas love humidity. Regularly mist the leaves with water to increase the ambient humidity. You can also place a tray of water near the plant.
-
Fertilization: Apply a balanced water-soluble fertilizer once a month in spring and summer. Reduce the frequency in autumn and winter.
-
Pruning: Remove yellow or damaged leaves to promote the growth of new, healthy leaves.
-
Repotting: Aglaonemas do not need frequent repotting. Do so when the plant becomes root-bound in its pot, usually every 2-3 years.
-
Toxicity: Keep in mind that Aglaonema is toxic to pets and children if ingested. Make sure to keep it out of their reach.
