Dracaena fragrans Lemon Surprise

  1. Light: Place your Dracaena "Lemon Surprise" in a bright location, but avoid direct sunlight. Moderate, indirect light is ideal. These plants tolerate a range of light conditions, but they will thrive with bright, indirect light.

  2. Temperature: This plant prefers temperatures between 18°C and 24°C (65°F and 75°F). Avoid cold drafts and temperatures below 10°C (50°F).

  3. Watering: Water your Dracaena "Lemon Surprise" moderately. Allow the soil to dry slightly between waterings, typically every 1 to 2 weeks. Ensure the pot has good drainage to prevent root rot. Standing water is harmful to this plant.

  4. Humidity: Dracaena plants appreciate moderate ambient humidity, but they can tolerate lower humidity levels. To increase humidity, you can occasionally mist the leaves or place the plant on a pebble tray filled with water (ensure the pot is not sitting directly in the water).

  5. Fertilization: Feed your Dracaena "Lemon Surprise" with a diluted, balanced fertilizer during the growing season (spring and summer) approximately once a month. Reduce feeding in winter when growth slows down.

  6. Repotting: Repotting is necessary when the plant outgrows its pot or the soil is depleted. This is usually needed every 2 to 3 years. Use a well-draining potting mix.

  7. Grooming: Regularly remove dead or yellowing leaves to encourage new growth.

  8. Common Problems: Watch out for insect infestations, such as mealybugs or spider mites. Treat them promptly if necessary. Root rot due to overwatering is a common problem. Ensure water does not accumulate in the saucer under the pot.

Please note that we offer delivery throughout Quebec only for plants, pots 6'' and under, and accessories (jewelry, candles, plush toys).

Larger items (large plants, bulk items, and others) are available for pickup only and local delivery (45km and less). We are pleased to offer you local delivery for your plant purchases. You can choose between two time slots for delivery: 9 am to 12 pm or 12 pm to 5 pm.

However, please note that in some cases, particularly when we receive large orders requiring longer preparation time, we may not be able to meet the chosen time slot. We make every effort to ensure your plants are delivered the same day, but it is possible that we may sometimes exceed the estimated time.
