For potted cultivation during the warm season on balconies, in greenhouses, or in courtyards, like all fig varieties. A dormancy period is required between -2°C and 4°C during winter.
'Lattarula' is an excellent large fig, similar to 'Ficazzana' in fruit quality, tree characteristics, and production. Medium-sized yellow-green fig with very sweet and delicious amber flesh. Produces in summer and autumn. Also known as "Italian Honey."
Soil: Does not tolerate excessively wet soil, but needs good moisture during fruiting.
Once established, fig trees are drought-tolerant and generally free of pests and diseases.
