Growing in pots
For growing in pots during the warm season on balconies, in greenhouses, or in your courtyard, like all fig varieties. A dormancy period is required between -2°C and 4°C during winter.
The fruit is large, with brown skin and amber pulp. Pick the fruit just before maturity for perfect flavor and to avoid sourness and cracks.
Self-fertile
Sunlight: Full sun.
Soil: Well-drained. Does not tolerate excessively wet soil but needs good moisture during fruiting.
Once established, fig trees are drought-tolerant and generally free of pests and diseases.
