This very old variety was introduced to the US in 1894 by New York seedsman Peter Henderson. It is a semi-bush, very productive plant that yields fruits weighing from 0.5 to 1 kg. Their cream-colored skin is striped with dark green, and their orange-yellow flesh is firm, sweet, and rich in flavor. When cooked, their taste is reminiscent of chestnuts. They do not store as long as fruits from other squash varieties.

Please note that we offer delivery throughout Quebec only for plants, pots 6'' and under, and accessories (jewelry, candles, plush toys).

Larger items (large plants, bulk items, and others) are available for pickup only and local delivery (45km and less). We are pleased to offer you local delivery for your plant purchases. You can choose between two time slots for delivery: 9 am to 12 pm or 12 pm to 5 pm.

However, please note that in some cases, particularly when we receive large orders requiring longer preparation time, we may not be able to meet the chosen time slot. We make every effort to ensure your plants are delivered the same day, but it is possible that we may sometimes exceed the estimated time.
