This variety lives up to its name, as the onions produced are exceptionally uniform and stand straight like soldiers, with not a single leaf bending. Vigorous, they form impeccable rows 20-30 cm high. Because the plants produce few to no bulbs, the dark green leaf clusters are very easy to clean. Moreover, in addition to being beautiful, they have that good, sweet onion taste that suits all dishes.
Also called green onions or scallions, bunching onions are the first to mature. They only keep for a few weeks in the cold.
