Very cold-hardy, this small leafy vegetable is very interesting to grow in Quebec because it doesn't tend to bolt. Furthermore, its nutty flavor is more pronounced than common arugula, and also more deliciously pungent. Its rapid growth allows for multiple sowings (every two weeks) and it can even be grown in containers indoors during winter. Leaves are harvested when 10 or 15 cm tall. They are delicious in salads and in cheese dishes.
